A new diversity festival comes to London in September 2017

LONDON: On the 23rd of August 2017, British Indian Turkish Business Forum (BITBF) announced  that International Diversity Festival London (IDFL) will take place on the 22nd September.

Speaking to this news service,  the Chairman Sunil Chopra said the festival aims to connect different communities and groups in London. He underlined the importance of the initiative to highlight and compliment the hard work, passion and innovation methods contributed by the ethnic minority representatives to London’s economy and culture.

The event will be held at Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall and witness participants from Turkey, India,  Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Sierra Leone, Maldives,  Lithuania and others. It will feature performances of singers and dancers, as well as culinary masterpieces of various countries.

The event General Manager Husamettin Tas hopes that attendees can truly benefit from this unique platform for networking opportunities and strengthen London’s cultural exchange. The festival is free of charge but requires a prior booking, he added.
